Adam Fishbein (NACS, 2018 trainee) was awarded an F31 for his application entitled, " Central Nervous System Processing of Complex Acoustic Signals." Adam is co-mentored by Greg Ball and Bob Dooling.

Recent C-CEBH trainee, Krisina Milvae, Au.D., Ph.D., was awarded an NIH K01 Mentored Research Scientist Career Development Award. Kristina works with mentor Matt Goupell.
C-CEBH faculty mentor, Ronna Hertzano, M.D., Ph.D. was promoted to Associate Professor with tenure at the University of Maryland School of Medicine in July, 2019. Ronna previously mentored CEBH trainee, Maggie Matern and currently mentors CEBH trainee Katie Gilliam.
Maureen Shader (former trainee) successfully defended her dissertation on July 9, 2019. The title of her dissertation is: "AUDITORY TEMPORAL PROCESSING ABILITY IN COCHLEAR-IMPLANT USERS: THE EFFECTS OF AGE AND PERIPHERAL NEURAL SURVIVAL." Maureen's co-mentors were Matt Goupell and Sandy Gordon-Salant. Maureen will be starting a postdoc position at the Bionics Institute in Melbourne, Australia in August. Congraulations, Maureen!
