Dr. Lisa Cunningham was awarded tenure at the NIH Intramural Program (NIDCD) after only three years at the NIH. This promotion followed an extensive review by the NIDCD and the NIH Board of Scientific Councilors. Congratulations to Dr. Cunningham!
NACS student Krystyna Orzechowski was awarded a National Research Service Award (NRSA) in July 2014. Krystyna is a 4th year student in NACS, and her adviser is Patrick Kanold. She was supported by the CEBH T32 in 2012-2013.
Jonathan Simon was recently promoted from associate professor to full professor. Dr. Simon’s university appointment is jointly held between the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, the Department of Biology, and the Institute for Systems Research.
